    Can you do this if you have lungs illness even pneunomnia? Please answer. I’m not sure what my condition is but overall I rarely cough and do breath pretty much ok most of the day but before the sleep is the hardest (I hear this whistleing sounds in my lungs) and in the mornings a bit and usually I feel like my lungs are not breathing to it’s full potential lets say, like a bit shortness of breath. I don’t feel any chest pain, very rarely if so… only once I felt and I couldn’t stop coughing when I let too much cold air in the room and layed next to a window.

    15 minutes seem way too long for the ice to cool down the water and you shouldn't wait for all the ice to melt if you want to have the water as cold as possible. It depends on how much ice you use obviously but if you use too little, the water will start to heat up quickly. Once the water has reached 0 C, all heat energy will go towards melting the ice which means that as long as there is a shard of ice left in the water it will still be 0 C. Once all the ice has melted, the heat energy will start to heat up the water.

  19. I just did the breathing and felt completely numb after the 30 breaths. I literally felt nothing. It was frightening so I breathed in before I had to. Anyone else have this experience?

    For lazy people heree ya go
    Step1: Have a stronger mindset before beginning (Believe in yourself you can do it)
    Step2:Dynamic stretching (Warm up your body to fire up nervous system)
    Step3: Breathing (Deep breathing-
    A)Deep INHALE through nose,deep EXHALE through mouth several times(30 times generally).
    B)After step (A),then INHALE deeply through nose and EXHALE only a "little". (this helps in breathing more air into the body than breathing out, leading to more oxygen intake in blood circulation), Repeat this for 30 times or until you feel dizzy.
    C)Once you start feeling dizzy,EXHALE completely and hold your breath for as long as possible, at this point you can also close your eyes and start meditating(not necessarily) but if you'd like.Once you feel like you need to breathe,take a deep breathe by INHALING through your nose and hold it there for 15 seconds and then EXHALE deeply through your mouth and repeat the entire process again.
    After these 3 steps,you should be feeling much stronger,you can see the difference when doing pushups or going for a walk but if you want to go further here ya go with the next step:
    Step4: Exposure to Ice or ice cold water(Ice shower for a minute or freeze some water in refrigerator or use ice cubes)Once you're in water or ice slow down your breath and focus,if you feel tight try to relax and imagine a warm ball located in your abdomen(belly).

    So the oxygen thing isn’t quite accurate, you actually reduce you usable oxygen because co2 is reduced, co2 actually allows your body to use oxygen (some complicated biology reasons) “what I’ve learned” has a solid vid on it.

    Well,inspired by Wim Hof videos, ive taken my first ice bath today. I am already proficient in cold shower, i started doing it because of sports years ago and shower cold for years now and it doesnt bother me anymore. I started to enjoy it as a matter of fact

    well anyway, today i filled the tub with cold water, and put about 3,5-4l of frozen water, or kilos of ice, that i had put into plastic bags and into the freezer the day before, into the water. I let the ice melt in the water and then layed into the water. It wasnt as cold as expected, and it was no problem staying in the water for 10 minutes, that was the time i planned to stay in there. When i got out i simply put my clothes on and went on with my day. I think i felt a little light headed afterwards but i am not sure. And my stomach feels real cold from the inside like i drank a bottle of cold beer. I will do it again because it felt good but i am not sure if it really will have any benefits. My cold showering didnt have benefits either i guess. At least it has no effect on anxiety. I have put a larger ammount of water, about 5 liter in the freezer for tommorrow
